Beverly Hill cop is a 1984 American buddy cop action-comedy film that was written by Daniel Petrie Jr and was directed by Martin Brest. The film starred Eddie Murphy as the main cast along side judge Reinhold, john Ashton, Ronny Cox, Steven Berkoff and many others. the film follows a freewheeling Detroit cop perusing a murder investigation finds himself dealing with a different culture of Beverly hill. The film was one of the best films of its time and due to its huge commercial success, the film’s sequel was released. The film also received several award nominations including a Golden Globe award, and an academy award.
