ATLANTA, GA –In a bid to show support for his fellow Georgia voters on Election Day 2020, the Migos rapper, Offset partnered with The Lincoln Project to give out free food at the polls in Gwinnett and Fulton County on Tuesday.

The multi-platinum selling artist traveled around the Atlanta area, working in a food truck during the day. Atlanta’s The Slutty Vegan and Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks provided the food, helping to feed people participating in the electoral process.

Offset also achieved a personal milestone as Tuesday was the first time he’s voted in a presidential election. Earlier this year, he voted for the first time in his life when he participated in Georgia’s primary elections.

This year’s election motivated Offset to get more involved in the political process. He showed his support for Joe Biden by performing at an Atlanta rally for the Democratic presidential candidate on October 27.

Outside of politics, things appear to be getting better in Offset’s personal life. His wife Cardi B changed her mind about divorcing him after the couple reconciled. She originally filed for divorce in September.

Rapper DaBaby has deactivated his Instagram account following a tragic death in his inner circle. On Sunday (November 8), fans noticed his page was gone only five days after his older brother Glen Johnson committed suicide in their hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Following Johnson’s death, DaBaby was initially vocal about his grief and used the social media platform to connect with his fans.

In one of his Instagram Stories, DaBaby quoted a line from his 2017 song “INTRO,” which goes “My brother be thinkin’ that we don’t love him and let him struggle like we ain’t family/Like I won’t give up all I got to see you happy, n-gga.” He later encouraged his 15 million Instagram followers to “check on your people.”

DaBaby also confessed he was seeking therapy to help deal with the numerous tragedies he’s faced over the last two years, including the death of his father in 2018.

“#MentalHealthAwareness,” he wrote on Twitter. .”If you can’t get over depression GET HELP, you see a loved one struggling get them help, they refuse the help, MAKE em get treated anyway. You suffer from PTSD take that shit serious & get help. I’m bouta get a therapist my damn self! #LongLiveG.”

Several rappers are currently enveloped in grief following King Von’s murder. Durk, who signed his fellow Chicago native to his Only The Family imprint in 2018, was shattered by Von’s death and deactivated his Instagram account not long after the news broke.

But there’s been at least one positive development in the case. On Saturday (November 7), investigators revealed they’d charged 22-year-old Timothy Leeks with Von’s murder. Leeks was one of the five people shot during the Atlanta shootout on Friday (November 6) and remain at Grady Hospital where he’s receiving treatment.

The crash was super intense, leaving her G-Wagon flipped on the driver’s side. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.

King Von is dead at the age of 26 following a shooting involving police in Georgia, TMZ reports.

TMZ cites sources as saying 3 people, including King Von, were killed in the shooting. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the incident occurred outside a nightclub in downtown Atlanta early Friday morning. Reporters Chelsea Prince and John Spink noted that “several others” were injured. TMZ put the number of people shot at 6. One person was said to have been struck by a vehicle when the crowd outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge started to scatter, AJC reports.

The report also noted that local authorities had been called to the club twice over a 24-hour period to investigate shootings, though there is zero evidence the two incidents are related. During the early Friday morning shooting, two off-duty cops who were working security are said to have tried to intervene, ultimately exchanging gunfire with as-yet-unidentified individuals.

“That physical altercation escalated into an exchange of gunfire with those groups,” Atlanta police Deputy Chief Timothy Peek said. “Two police officers who were working at that particular club, or lounge, noticed the altercation and engaged some of the people involved. There was an exchange of gunfire with police as well.”

The GA Bureau of Investigation has been enlisted to investigate.

Later, social media posts from Calboy, Chopsquad DJ, and more appeared to confirm King Von had died. Von’s manager was quoted as saying that Von had been shot and did not survive.
