The 5 suspects who stole two of Lady Gaga’s prized French bulldogs and shot her dogwalker pleaded not guilty in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday.

The liberal judge, Victoria Wilson, ordered no photographs of the five suspects in court to shield their identities.

Three of the suspects — James Jackson, 18; Jaylin White, 19; and Lafayette Whaley, 27 — were charged with attempted murder and armed robbery, according to the LAPD.

Two other suspects — Harold White, the 40-year-old father of Jaylin White, and his girlfriend Jennifer McBride, 50, were charged with being accessories after the fact.

McBride was released on bail and ordered to remain on house arrest with an ankle monitor after her lawyer argued that she is a diabetic and did not have her insulin with her.

Jackson was held on $3 million bail, according to Dailymail.com. The others are being held without bail.

All five are charged with armed robbery and the theft of pop singer Lady Gaga’s dogs on Feb. 24.

Gaga’s father, Joe Germanotta, told Entertainment Tonight: “That’s fabulous news. I hope the L.A. prosecutor doesn’t let them go.

“It’s taken a while and I’m proud of the police department out there for sticking with it. As I said, I just hope that the DA doesn’t let them go now. I’m going to give my daughter a call. I’m sure she’ll be happy.”

Gaga’s dogs were returned to her 2 days after the incident when she offered a $500,000 reward for their safe return. Jennifer McBride contacted Gaga’s people via email and claimed she found the dogs in an alley.

However, police reviewed surveillance video of the woman dropping the dogs off car the location where she claimed she found them. McBride turned the dogs over to the Los Angeles Police about 7 miles from where they were taken at gunpoint.

Gaga did not pay out the $500,000 reward because detectives were suspicious that McBride might be linked to the dognappers.

McBride is charged as an alleged accessory after the fact, as well as on one count of receiving stolen property.

According to Los Angeles Police Department officials, Harold White was also charged as an accessory after the fact and with a count of possession of a firearm, while James Jackson, Jaylin White and Lafayette Whaley have been have each been charged with one count of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and second-degree robbery.

Jackson also faces two further firearm charges, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and a felon carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle, and White faces a count of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury.

Detectives don’t believe the suspects – who are all Los Angeles gang members – targeted Gaga’s dogwalker Ryan Fischer. They believe greed and the high value of the dogs were the motivating factors.

Ryan was shot when he was walking Gaga’s three dogs – Miss Asia, Koji, and Gustavo – and during the attack, Miss Asia ran away from the scene while Koji and Gustavo were captured by the robbers.

Miss Asia was later recovered and returned the same day, before Koji and Gustavo were found two days after the shooting.

Spectrum News 1 released a statement after one of its female reporters complained about harassment on the job.

Brianna Hamblin, a news reporter for Spectrum News 1 in Rochester, New York, took to social media to slam the sexual harassment she receives from men while doing live remotes.

She shared a video that showed her discomfort as two men made remarks to her before she went live on camera.

A Black man said “you look nice by the way” to Hamblin as he walked by. She responded “thank you” before looking down at her cellphone.

Then a white man approached her and asked why she was standing in front of a camera. She told him to watch the news to find out.

He hurled crude remarks at her as he walked away, including “you’re sexy as f***” – to which Hamblin said “oh my god”.

Her cameraman, Scott Barstow, did nothing to stop the harassment.

Hamblin captioned the video:

“Being hit on and harassed as a woman, especially as a woman reporter out in the field, happens so often you learn how to roll with it or ignore it. This time it happened to be recorded only seconds before my hit. There are A LOT of things wrong with this.”

    R. Kelly allegedly sexually abused a 17-year-old boy after meeting him at a Chicago-area McDonald’s in 2006, a new court filing alleges.

Federal prosecutors in New York alleged new accusations against the disgraced singer, including sexual assault and bribery, going back 30 years.

According to court docs, Kelly, 54, sexually abused the teen after asking him “what he was willing to do to succeed in the music business.”

The teen allegedly introduced Kelly to a male friend, aged 16 or 17.

Several years later, when the male was 19 or 20, the star apparently started a sexual relationship with that person, referred to as John Doe #2. Kelly allegedly forced several of his girlfriends to have sex with the young man while he filmed the encounters.

In court documents filed on Friday, July 23, and obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times, prosecutors asked a judge to permit them to submit new evidence of the allegations at Kelly’s upcoming racketeering trial in federal court in Brooklyn, New York.

Kelly faces federal charges of violating the Mann Act involving the coercion and transportation of women and girls in interstate commerce to engage in illegal sexual activity.

The singer, born Robert Sylvester Kelly, has not been charged with any new sexual offenses, according to the Post.

Prosecutors also claim to have evidence that Kelly sexually abused singer Aaliyah and married her in 1994, when she was 15, so that she couldn’t be forced to testify against him. She died in a plane crash in 2001.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a woman named Jane Doe #5 claimed Kelly asked her to search the internet for “child pornography involving boys for him”.

According to court papers, a search of Kelly’s computer corroborated the claim.

Additionally, the musician is accused of leading an enterprise to recruit women and girls for sex. He denies any wrongdoing. His Brooklyn trial is scheduled for August 9.

A separate trial for child pornography charges is set in his native Chicago, Illinois in September.

Kelly was recently slapped with a $2 million dollar tax lien for allegedly failing to pay taxes in 2008. As reported by Radar Online, the IRS filed a lien against Kelly’s former Illinois mansion.

Kelly has pleaded not guilty on all counts.
