The arrival of Kid Cudi’s Kenya Barris-helmed Netflix series is finally within reach.
On Wednesday (June 8), the Cleveland-bred MC shared the video trailer and several images of his upcoming animated series, Entergalactic, which was originally announced in 2019. In a lengthy Twitter post, he explained his intentions for the reception of the show and described it as his “greatest achievement.”
“ENTERGALACTIC TEASER,” Cudi began. “World…I have been waiting 3 long years for you all to see what I’ve been working on all this time. My greatest achievement. This project will move you, it will take your heart places and make you fall in love again.”
Kid Cudi also revealed the star-studded voice cast for the show, which along with himself includes Ty Dolla $ign, 070 Shake, Teyana Taylor, Jaden Smith, Timothée Chalamet and more.
“The wonderful cast includes: Myself as Jabari, Jessica Williams as Meadow, Timothée Chalamet as Jimmy, Ty Dolla $ign as Ky, Laura Harrier as Carmen, Vanessa Hudgens as Karina, Christopher Abbott as Reed, 070 Shake as Nadia, Jaden Smith as Jordan, Keith David as Mr. Rager, Maisha Mescudi as Ellie, Teyana Taylor as Boxing Coach, Arturo Castro as Len, Macaulay Culkin as Downtown Pat,” he wrote.
