In this clip, Reggie Wright Sr. explained the often overlooked connection between the rise in gang violence in Los Angeles, and Compton in particular, with the return of Vietnam War vets back to the streets. Reggie Sr. said that there were many former vets who came back and provided tactical support and strategy for the gangs they joined. One tactic they brought back, in particular, was the drive-by shooting.
