In an interview with “The Breakfast’s Club,” Salt N Pepa chatted with DJ Envy about their connection with Spinderella and why she was not included in the biopic.

According to Salt, before adding Spinderella to the group, Salt N Pepa was already established, and how they were a company.

“We were already established as Salt N Pepa. We were already established as a company together. We are partners. Always have been partners. Spinderella was an addition to what we had already created, ” Salt stated in the interview.

Salt continued in the interview how there were many attempts to “compromise and satisfy” on everybody’s behalf; however, things never got to a place where she [Spinderella] wanted them to be.

She went on to say that she understands people would like to see groups stay together but sometimes things happen internally and come to a head.

And that’s why the three decided to part ways.

In closing, Salt said, “we wish Spinderella the best. We’re open to whatever can happen in the future. I’ve reached out to her and haven’t gotten anything back, ya know. But I still…my heart is open.”

Spinderella spoke out about the biopic on Friday in a series of tweets.

“Sorry, but I gotta speak on this Lifetime special. Too often, Black women who have made meaningful contributions in their industry are left out of historical narratives.”

“Words cannot fully express my disappointment when I learned a decision was made to move forward with a Lifetime biopic that wrongfully excluded me from every aspect of development and production…,” she continued. “all the while using my image throughout, given that I played an integral role in the group’s story and success.”

Burger King is under fire for tweeting a blatant sexiest comment on International Women’s Day that read: “Women belong in the kitchen.”

Shortly after posting their tweet, they followed up with a series of other tweets clarifying that “If they want to, of course, about 20% of chefs are women” and announcing a scholarship to “assist female Burger King workers in pursuing their culinary dreams.”

On Twitter, many users are taking what intended to be a market ploy personally and are taking issue with the fact that women are, once again, the butt of the joke.

NYC Woman Finds Hole Behind Her Bathroom Mirror Leading to Strange Secret Apartment

It’s almost “Candyman” come to life.

A New York City woman discovered an entire empty apartment located through a hole behind her bathroom mirror — and videos of her solving the mystery and making the unsettling discovery have gone viral on TikTok.

Samantha Hartsoe was trying to find the source of cold air that was blowing into her Roosevelt Island apartment, and soon found that the air was coming from behind the bathroom mirror. She removed the mirror to find a fairly large square hole in the wall.

She continued to film as she peered through, finding a dark room on the other side — and a hallway leading to possibly more. She quickly decided she had to go in and see what was in there.

“Curiosity killed the cat, curiosity is going to kill me,” Hartsoe told NBC New York. “I can’t not know what’s on the other side of my bathroom.”

After gearing up — complete with a facemask and armed with a hammer — she finds a way to get through the hole, despite some concern from her roommates.

“Every corner I would walk normal and then be like [moving her head] to check,” Hartsoe said.”

As she kept on with her investigation, she found more and more of the unfinished apartment on the other side of the hole. She explored both floors, and made sure to lock the front door to the empty apartment. After finding plenty of filled trash bags, and thankfully no spirits, Hartsoe returned back to go back through the hole, back to her apartment.

“My roommates definitely thought I was going to be dead. When I came back they were excited,” she said.

Nearly eight million viewers on TikTok were captivated by Hartsoe’s journey, captured in a series of four videos. She isn’t sure why so many people were drawn to her videos, chalking it up to possible boredom or maybe a bit of wistful hope shared by all apartment dwellers.

“I think everybody in New York has such small apartments, you don’t know what you’re going to find and everyone’s hoping for more space,” Hartsoe said.

She has contacted the maintenance department, which is scheduled to address the hole behind her mirror tomorrow. Hartsoe said she has not yet contacted the landlord.
