Tiger Woods was hospitalized following a single-car crash car Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to local police.
Emergency responders used the jaws of life to extricate Woods from the wreckage just after 8 a.m. He was transported to a hospital, where his condition is unknown.
Woods, who is recovering from recent back surgery, previously admitted to an addiction to opioid narcotics as a result of back surgeries over the years.
He was arrested in 2017 after falling asleep behind the wheel of his car near his Jupiter Island, Florida, mansion at about 3:00 am. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The 45-year-old father-of-two agreed to take part in a first-time DUI offender program, which he completed.
He received a year of probation, was fined $250, and ordered to undergo 50 hours of community service along with regular drug tests. He was not allowed to drink alcohol during the probation period.
