The pandemic has not stopped celebrities from setting out of the box and showcasing their creativity. Many recreated iconic looks from magazines and album covers, and characters from the most memorable shows/ movies. Here’s a list of 20 of the best costume of 2020.

  1. Saweetie embodied not one but 3 different iconic looks for Halloween. First, she took on the looks of Beyoncé, Kelly, and Michelle in their “Bootylicious.” Saweetie also recreated a photoshoot from the legendary RuPaul lipstick flyer.

And even recreated a video with all three girls!

2. Ciara recreated album covers of two of the “WAP” ladies Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B. Ciara retread Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” Album cover and Megan’s “Girls in The Hood” single cover. She also recreated one if Nicki Manji’s red carpet look at the Grammy’s, and Busta Rhythms and Janet Jackson’s “Scream.”

3. The “Little” star Marsai Martin, embraced her inner bad gal as she redid the cover of one of Rihanna’s notorious magazine covers. She picked the Vogue “Rebel” cover to recreate and had the accessories, airbrush tattoo, and attire to match.

4. Cardi B decided to go greek and become the monstrous “Medusa” for Halloween.

5. Rico Nasty as the joker!

6. Lil Nas X recreated one of Nicki Minaj’s biggest hits, the memorable scene in her song “Super Bass” with her bob wig and pink and white jumpsuit.

7. Flo Mili took it back to the 2000s and redid one of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez’s Magazine covers. She recreated her Sister January 2000 Cover.

8. Megan Thee stallion did some cosplay as Yumeko, a fictional character in an animated tv series.

9.Social media comedian LaLa recreated the Little Mermaid movie flyer for her costume.

10. Lizzo took a comedic take on Halloween as the fly that landed on Mike Pence’s head during the presidential debate.

11. Lil Baby’s baby mom, Jayda dressed up her and the baby as Woody and Jessie from Toy Story.

12. Marlo from The Real Housewives of Atlanta channeled her inner foxy brown and recreated her album cover.

13. Singer and actress Ryan Destiny recreated one of Lauryn Hill’s most known photos.

14. Kylie Jenner and her group of friend decided to be the power rangers and had the matching wigs to finish the look.

15. Kris Jenner as took the nightmare route and dressed up as Jack Skellington with the car matching the aesthetic.

16. Skai Jackson is another person who recreated a Foxy Brown look.

18. Kim K and her crew did their only twist as Carole Baskin from the Netflix series “Tiger King.”

Twitter Reacts To DaniLeigh Alleged Pregnancy

Congrats may be in order for DaniLeigh as rumors swirl on social media that she is expecting her first child.

The “Yellow Bone” star was spotted out over the weekend wearing a fitted red dress, and her little tummy appears to be protruding a bit. Fans quickly speculated that she was sporting a baby bump.

The 26-year-old singer announced that she and rapper DaBaby had parted ways last month after the drama surrounding a highly publicized love triangle that included rapper MeMe, who shares a daughter with DaBaby.

During a recent Instagram Story post, fans additionally speculated that Dani and DaBaby were in a vehicle together, which suggested that the two may have reconciled.

Neither Dani nor her “Bop” rapping former boo has confirmed the news of their rekindled romance, let alone a potential new love child on the way. Nevertheless, Twitter had a field day with the photo floating around.

If DaniLeigh is expecting a bundle of joy, let’s wish her a happy and healthy pregnancy.

MacKenzie Scott, Jeff Bezos’ Ex-Wife, Marries A Seattle School Teacher

Mackenzie Scott and Jeff Bezos made headlines in 2019 when the news of their divorce hit mainstream media. But, two years following the split, Scott happily walked down the aisle again. 

As reported by The Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Scott married Seattle teacher Dan Jewett. When the two officially wed is unknown. 

Bezos seems to be very supportive of the partnership, calling Dan a “great guy.” “I am happy and excited for the both of them,” he told The Wall Street Journal. 

Rumors of Scott’s remarriage more than likely began to circulate after Jewett added his name to Scott’s Giving Pledge, an initiative started by Warren Buffet and Bill and Melinda Gates. 

Grateful for the opportunity to give back, Jewett never imagined his efforts would be as great as they soon will become.  

“It is strange to be writing a letter indicating I plan to give away the majority of my wealth during my lifetime, as I have never sought to gather the kind of wealth required to feel like saying such a thing would have a particular meaning,” Jewett wrote. 

“In a stroke of happy coincidence, I am married to one of the most generous and kind people I know — and joining her in a commitment to pass on an enormous financial wealth to serve others,” Jewett continued on. 

Jewett is not wrong about his new wife’s generous nature. 

After Scott’s split with Bezos, she was left with a 4% stake in Amazon, which then was a whopping $38.3 billion, Bloomberg reported, according to People. 

Since then, Scott has been a dedicated philanthropist.

In just the past four months, the 50-year-old has donated about $4.2 billion to 384 organizations. 

As of now, Scott is the 22nd richest person in the world, People reported.

Dallas Cop Charged For Arranging Two Murders, Including A Woman Who He Called “Informant”

A Dallas police officer is now on the other side of the law after authorities alleged he orchestrated the murders of two people in 2017.

According to PEOPLE, Bryan Riser, 36 and a 13-year veteran with the city police, faces murder charges that include a charge for the murder of a 31-year-old woman acting as a police informant.

Edgardo Garcia, Dallas’ Police Chief, detailed the allegations against the former officer during a recent press conference, saying that he had hired someone to kidnap and kill Albert Douglas, 61, and Liza Saenz, 31.

One of the three men involved and charged in the killings told prosecutors nearly two years ago that he had information on Riser, the chief added.

The man was a longtime friend of Riser, and they use to rob houses together years before. The two caught up with one another in 2013 when Riser approached him with an offer.

Riser is accused of arranging Douglas’ murder first, paying $3,500 for the killing. The witness said Douglas was abducted in early 2017 and was fatally shot and dumped in the Trinity River. The body was never found.

Two weeks later is when Riser offered him $6,000 to kidnap and kill Saenz. Saenz was shot multiple times, and her remains were tossed in the river. Authorities recovered the remains on March 10, 2017.

In September 2017, police arrested Kevin Kidd, 28, Emmanuel Kilpatrick, 31, and Jermon Simmons, 35, charging all three in Saenz’s slaying.

Riser now faces two murder charges for his role in the killings. He is being held on a hefty $5 million bail.
