At a campaign rally, President Donald Trump attempted to insult his Democratic opponent by telling the crowd that Vice President Joe Biden would “listen to scientists” regarding COVID-19.

During a stop in Carson City, Nevada, Trump spoke to about 5,000 of his mostly unmasked supporters, who often cheered his comments.

“He will surrender your future to the virus. He’s going to lockdown, he’s going to want us to lockdown,” Trump warned.

“He’ll listen to the scientists,” Trump continued in a mocking tone. “If I listened totally to the scientists, we would right now have a country that would be in a massive depression, instead of, we’re like a rocket ship. Take a look at the numbers.”

Amid the pandemic that has killed more than 219,000 people, the president has repeatedly downplayed the severity of the virus, rejected fact, spread false information, and generally refused health experts’ guidance.

A spokesman for the Biden campaign, Andrew Bates, called Trump “out of touch” in a tweet on Sunday.

“This is tellingly out of touch and the polar opposite of reality. Trump crashed the strong economy he inherited from the Obama-Biden Administration by lying about and attacking the science, and layoffs are rising,” Bates said. “Meanwhile, Joe Biden would create millions more jobs than Trump.”

According to The Guardian, unemployment had fallen sharply since it reached its record high in April but is beginning to show signs of slowing as more companies announce layoffs. The current unemployment rate sits much higher than when Trump was elected in 2016.

Trump’s comments come as the number of COVID-19 infections and deaths continue to rise in the United States.

The 28-year-old mother of one says that she was inspired to get into the doll business so that her daughter would have a toy that looks like herself.

“As everyone knows, I’m a mom. And today, more than ever, it’s important to me to give my daughter inspiration and badass women to look up to.”

Real Women Are is an up-and-coming brand that thrives on providing representation to young girls of all ethnicities in the form of trendy dolls. As the first minority-women owned and led doll brand, Cardi believes it would be the perfect company to bring her vision to life.

“Working with Real Women Are is a chance for me to provide my daughter and other little girls something that looks like them to play with to inspire them. We’re in the White House now, but we’re still so far behind in other places. Representation matters.”

Those looking to obtain one of these exclusive dolls will spend $35 to get on the limited pre-order list. The doll will include the signature style reminiscent of the trendsetter Cardi herself. Fans can also purchase the VIP Cardi B x RWA Gift Set, which features the doll with gold-plated accessories. The special edition set is priced at $99. Other accessories and doll clothing will be made available for purchase at a later date.

Cardi said in an Instagram video that she wanted to create dolls inspired by other women artists and career women as the toy line expanded.

HBO Max is thinking about lowering its price because the streaming service’s execs believe “most people…are not wealthy.”

It’s only been one year since HBO Max came into the streaming service arena, and now the brand is considering creating a new tier of pricing for those who can’t afford the current payment plan, which is $14.99 a month.

“It turns out that most people on this planet are not wealthy,” WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar said during a virtual appearance at Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media & Telecom conference via Deadline. “If we can wake up and use price and be able to kind of invent and do things elegantly through advertising to reduce the price of the service, I think that’s a fantastic thing for fans.”

Like Hulu and Peacock, HBO Max will now offer an ad-based payment plan tier, which is expected to launch later this year, according to UPROXX. The streaming service announced that thanks to Wonder Woman 1984, HBO Max is now two years ahead of schedule. The film’s January release reportedly doubled its subscribers after its theatrical and streaming release.

The streaming service believes the numbers will only grow higher, as Godzilla Vs. Kong is set to drop on the platform later this month.

Is HBO Max too expensive? Netflix’s highest payment plan tier is $17.99.

Apple‘s upcoming AirTags will provide a way for users to track a person or an item and allow a user to know if a person is tracking them.

According to Mashable, Apple has developed a new option called “Item Safety Alerts” within the iOS 14.5 beta feature. The outlet reports that the feature will alert a user when an unknown item is on their person or object being tracked. This feature would benefit someone if someone were to place an AirTag on an object, person, child, or pet of someone.

The Item Safety Alerts feature can be switched on or off in the Find My App tab. If a person chooses to have the feature turned off, a notice will alert the user to know that someone could potentially track them without the user being notified.

“The owner of an unknown item will be able to see your location, and you will no longer receive notifications when an unknown item is found moving with you,” the notice says.

The AirTags have Bluetooth capability and can easily be attached to bikes, clothing items, purses, or bags.

The Verge reports that the new feature may also not be solely exclusive to AirTags, as Apple reportedly plans on opening up the Find My app to other companies like Samsung’s Galaxy SmartTag.
