Twitter users expressed outrage at WNBA star Liz Cambage for calling Connecticut Sun head coach Curt Miller a “little white one”.

Cambage, 29, used the slur in response to Miller wight-shaming her during a game on Sunday.

Miller was fined $10,000 by the WNBA for criticizing Cambage’s weight during the Suns’ 72-65 win over the Aces at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

Cambage is perfectly proportioned for her height, but she took offense to the comment anyway.

The Australian bauty posted a video to Twitter in which she said Miller was arguing a call and told a ref, “Come on, she’s 300 pounds.”

“One thing about me is that I will never let a man disrespect me – especially a little white one,” Cambage said in the video. “For a coach on another team to be yelling like protected abuse, ’cause we can’t do nothing back, it’s just crazy to me.”

She went on to say she was 6-foot-8 and weighed 235 pounds.

“So to the coach of Connecticut — I’m sorry, little sir man, I do not know your name. But the next time you try to call out a referee trying to get a call being like, ‘come on, she’s 300 pounds,’ I’m going to need you to get it right baby, ’cause I’m 6-8… I’m weighing 235 pounds and I’m very proud of being a big b—-, big body, big Benz, baby.”

But Twitter criticized dragged Cambage for bringing Miller’s skin color into the discussion.

“I like Liz Cambage, but she clapped back by calling him a “little white boy”?? That’s even ground for suspension if we’re playing this game,” said Rob Stukenborg on Twitter.

Another user slammed the New York Times for “conveniently” leaving Cambage’s “racist” comment out of its report about the controversy. The paper cut off Cambage’s quote before she mentioned the slur.

Richard Bradley tweeted: “I just don’t get how it’s wrong for a coach to say a player weighs 300 pounds but it’s acceptable for a player to refer to that coach as ‘a little white one.'”

Twitter user Frankie, wrote: “So Liz Cambage can get mad at a man for bringing up her size in the heat of a game, but it’s okay for her to say that she will ‘never let a little white man’ disrespect her? What she said is worse lmaooo.”

Kodak Black probably shouldn’t have used a helicopter when paying tribute to the late NBA icon Kobe Bryant.

The rapper angered Kobe’s fans when he celebrated his 24th birthday on Instagram by sharing photos of a helicopter wrapped in the Lakers team colors.

His brand new Tesla Model X car is also customized with the team’s yellow and purple.

In the caption, Kodak Black wrote: “I’m Ouchea 24 a Day I’m Like KOBE #KtB @kobebryant… #HappyBirthdayKodak Out Now.”

Kobe’s fans let Kodak know that the helicopter tribute was inappropriate in the comments section. One fan wrote: “The helicopter not sitting right w me.”

Another wrote: “The man and his daughter died in one.”

And a third user wrote: “I think the helicopter was a little to much.”

But some of Kodak’s followers defending his tribute.

Instagram user @maximusbuckets wrote: “He honoring him if anything.”

Kobe and his daughter, Gianna, 13, died tragically in a fiery helicopter crash in Calabasas, California in January 2020.

Kodak also angered his fans last week when he said he wants President Donald Trump back in the White House.

Texas homeowners complain that their thermostats are being accessed remotely and turned up to save energy

Texas homeowners who purchased smart thermostats that connect to the Internet are crying foul after someone accessed their thermostats remotely.

Houston area homeowners are upset that someone accessed their thermostats and turned them up to nearly 80 degrees to save energy.

A Deer Park resident told KHOU that he awoke bathed in sweat and discovered his thermostat had been cranked up to 78 degrees.

The man said his wife turned the thermostat down before they went to bed.

He feared that his 3-month-old daughter would overheat in the unbearably hot house.

Later that day, his wife received an alert on her phone that said the thermostat was turned up remotely during a three-hour “energy saving event.”

The family’s smart thermostat was installed as part of a program called “Smart Savers Texas” operated by a company called EnergyHub.

In the small print, the agreement states that electric customers allow EnergyHub to control their thermostats during periods of high energy demand.

EnergyHub’s list of clients include TXU Energy, CenterPoint and ERCOT power companies.

The Deer Park homeowner and several of his neighbors have uninstalled the smart thermostats. He said the smart thermostats are convenient but not worth the trouble.

Smart devices, including thermostats and kitchen appliances, are connected to the Internet and may be accessed from outside the home.
