Last year, while filming her talk show from home, Wendy Williams, 57, was drinking excessively.
This lead to her “stripping down and touching herself in an inappropriate way” in front of concerned people who were around, reports say.
In 2019, Williams visited a sober house often but others still saw that she was exhibiting weird behavior. They contacted her manager to check on her. Williams was found drunk and “putting on a show” for people nearby. 911 was then called.
Williams became very upset when authorities were called. She was eventually placed in the hospital for many weeks, and her show went on hiatus. When Williams was let go from the hospital, a statement was issued, stating that she was having problems related to her Graves’ disease.
Sources have said that the talk show host “doesn’t want to associate with anyone who was at her house that day. Another source added that “everyone knows not to get too close to Wendy… being in her life will backfire, and when it does, you’ll get burned.”
Rumors about Wendy have been dragging on for months. Some have even said that she is experiencing extreme dementia which her brother, Tommy, has said isn’t true.
