Rapper Gunna denied rumors that he and R&B singer Chloe Bailey are smashing.
The rumors started after Gunna and Chloe were spotted sitting courtside during the Atlanta Hawks home game opener at State Farm Arena last month.
Record labels constantly manufacture relationships to protect their artists’ hidden lifestyles.
But Gunna is having none of that.
DAVE RUSHEN / BACKGRID He discussed the rumors on the red carpet at the 2021 AMAs. When asked if he and Chloe were dating, the YSL rapper stopped short of saying their “date” was arranged by the record label.
“Yeah, we’re not dating, that was just, like, a date though, where you just go to the game and catch a vibe. But she’s my friend. We went to the studio after and locked in. She’s very creative, she’s very talented, and you will be seeing us more, for sure.”
Gunna went on to explain their working relationship in the studio.
“We did two songs but I think she might wanna use it for her album, or I might take it for my album but who knows? We’ve definitely got new music coming, for sure. She can have it. She can have whatever she wants.”
Chloe has not commented on the rumors.
